In a town with no surprises, one secret could change everything.

Review (This may contain some minor spoilers):
When I was done reading this book, I thought that it was really good and I really LOVED it and that I wanted the second one to come out right then and there.  I really liked that it was from the perspective of a boy because I only have like 6 books (on my shelf here, in CA (the others are in China :( )) that are solely from the perspective of a guy.

This was a really different type of paranormal book that I have on my shelf (most of them are about vampires... or werewolves... and other things) because it was about.... I don't know the exact word, but they're called casters in the book.  This book never really slows things down, everything happens sort of quickly and there's always something new introduced, like a new character or maybe a new vision.  It's also sort of cool how their ancestor's histories are intertwined in some way.

Also, the ending was PERFECT!!!  If you didn't read the ending, you would be wondering, "Why are they making a second book? " or, if you're reading the second book, "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING???"

Cover Review:
I think that the cover is perfect! (Personally, because I like the color purple... and it's the color of the font :D )  The font is reallllly pretty too!  The trees in the background make the book look scary, but it's really not scary at all!  But it kind of gives the message of: This is a paranormal fantasy book (that you will love).
